LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. —The opening of Town Center was less than ten days ago and two new additions have opened their doors, according to Disney Parks Blog.

The stores, Lilly Pulitzer and Trophy Room, are expected to attract shoppers from all over the world who visit Disney.

Lilly Pulitzer features clothing and accessories with bright, playful, wildly colorful prints. Check out the history behind the store’s legendary founder, Lillian McKim, (Lilly Pulitizer) here. What better place to open a new Lilly Pulitzer store than Disney Springs?

With apparel and accessories done in the signature “Lilly” style, every nook of the boutique pays homage to its Palm Beach roots. The dressing rooms feature hand-painted murals that bring the brand to life, according to Disney Parks Blog contributor Darcy Clark.

Trophy Room is described as a “sleek space showcasing ultra-cool sneakers and exclusive merchandise.” This first-of-its-kind location — founded by Marcus Jordan, a University of Central Florida grad and the son of NBA legend Michael Jordan — was inspired by the real-life trophy room of his father, officials said. Personal photos from the Jordan family collection and one-of-a-kind memorabilia are on display.

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. —Darlene Love hits the America Gardens Theatre stage Friday through Sunday at the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, according to Disney Parks Blog.

Known for her song, “Wait ‘Til My Bobby Comes Home,” among many others, Love first visited Epcot more than 20 years ago, but has never experienced the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival.

Disney Parks Blog spoke with Love ahead of her performance:

Q: What elements of our festival are you most interested in seeing and experiencing?

A: I love flowers (and diamonds) and am a hands-on gardener at heart. I have been to food (festivals) and other festivals, but can’t wait to experience an international festival of my first love, flowers. Also, to steal new ideas for my garden this year.

Q: Do you have a green thumb yourself?

A. For me, gardening is therapy when I’m not on tour. It’s gratifying to see my neighbors and passersby stop to take pictures.

Q. You grew up near Disneyland — do you have fun memories from there that you might share?

A: I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. I (still) cherish fondest memories of taking my three boys to Disneyland — so do they. I was a young mother; attractions were cheaper. They grew up eventually experiencing all those unforgettable attractions.

Check out the complete interview with Love from Disney Parks Blog HERE.

Darlene Love’s “Garden Rocks” will debut Friday through Sunday. Visitors can catch the concert series performances at 5:30 p.m., 6:45 p.m. and 8 p.m. every Friday, Saturday and Sunday during the 90-day festival.

The festival runs until May 30.
