‘The Art of Being a Military Child’ features student artwork in Virginia Beach

Virginia Beach, Va. – The third annual ‘The Art of Being a Military Child’ art exhibit is being displayed at Lynnhaven Mall on Tuesday.

The event officially kicks off on Wednesday, April 1.

The exhibit will be displayed throughout the month of April.

April is the Month of the Military Child, according to Navy officials.

Above, you will find pictures of the artwork that is on display.

The exhibit gives children of military families a chance to interpret what it means to them to be a military child, including lifestyles, and different cultural experiences.

The ceremony will be held Wednesday evening from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. NewsChannel 3’s Kurt Williams will be hosting the event.
